How to Handle Your Cake

 
 

Transport

  • Carry your cake with both hands underneath the box.

  • Place it on a flat, stable surface in your car, like the trunk or the floor behind a seat (not on a seat).

  • Keep the car cool, out of direct sunlight, and drive gently (slow turns, easy stops).

Serving Temperature (important)

  • Cakes are best enjoyed at room temperature.

  • Serving today: Please do not refrigerate. Keep it in a cool, safe spot, out of direct sunlight.

  • Serving another day: Refrigerate, then take it out 4–5 hours before serving so it can come to room temp.

Before Cutting

  • Remove any 3D decorations or toppers before slicing (they are not meant to be eaten).

  • As you cut, please remove any dowels/support materials inside the cake.

Design Approval + Changes (please read)

  • Please review your cake before leaving the bakery. Once the cake leaves our care, the design is considered approved, and we’re unable to offer returns, refunds, or redesigns.

  • If you’d like an adjustment while you’re here, we’re happy to help when possible. Any changes are based on time available and the scope of the request. If a change requires additional time, you may need to return for pickup once it’s completed.
